Well I am still writing (although not much lately) But ideas have been flowing lately so I am hopeful as always :)

Anyway had to share this with you. Thanks to my daught Sydney I found this cool site where you can create your own characters and make your own comic strips. All free 'cause that's how I roll YO!
Anyway the site is www.bitstrips.com and she had to do it for school but the main site is for anyone. Here is my second Strip. So I guess I am kinda published ... again.. LOL.

Day 5

Well, I ended up doing a bit of writing today, another couple of pages and basically finished the climax. Now I can begin to focus on re-reads and re-writes... still lots of work to do as it all feels a bit forced (at least what I did today does)

Well this is probably the last day as I have to take my Aunt to the doctor, bank and shopping tommorow morning. I have put down about a page and a half, it is so close to the end I can taste it but still not finished... sigh...

Well it has been a fairly productive week and hopefully I can keep at it, to some extent.

Day 3

Okay so technically day 3 was yesterday but I didn't get a chance to blog so here is what happened. Not only did I get 2 more good pages done but I was also able to link the whole thing up with 'theend.doc' which I started writing about a month ago. So now I am really close to closing this thing out. Not finishing as I have a bunch of re-writes to do and a lot of tweaking but it feels really good.

Day 2

Okay, 2 more good pages and a bunch of ideas, things really seem to be flowing although I am not writing as much as I thought I would. There just isn't that much time before Jake gets home. Basically I am writing from 9am or 9:30am to 11:15am so getting 2 decent pages seems pretty good. I hope to do a bit more tommorow maybe start right when the kids leave at 8am and then do a bit of writing in the afternoon if Jake will let me.

Well enough about me, the kool knews is that yesterday afternoon Sydney finished her first book which I am going to publish on her Blog right now.

Day 1

Well here we are, as mentioned in my last post on the 17th of Dec. I have taken the week off to do some work on my book. So I got up this morning, had a cuppa tea and set down to work (okay I watched Outer Limits first to get me in the mood but whatever.) Anyway I was worried that it wouldn't come but thank goodness it did! I got a couple of good pages under my belt before Jake came home and I feel pretty good about it. Now I have spent a little time playing with him this afternoon and I am going to get back on it in a little bit. Feels good to get something done and actually move the story ahead. Sweet.

uh... yeah....

Okay... I have written nothing... I could blame it on the Christmas season but that is a cop out, I have just been lazy and uninspired. I know.. I suck... well maybe this weekend I can make a change for the better... the good news, I hope, is that I took off the first week of January when the kids go back to school so perhaps I will be able to focus on writing during the day and pound out a few chapters. I have not been totally ignoring the book, I do have a number of ideas. A character arc for John from either cowardly or despicable to brave and darkly heroic and some other stuff I can't think of right now.

anyway wish me luck... apparently I need it....
